Stationary I made for a friend.  I saw these address label stickers and thought they were super cute so I designed some to go with my friends stationary.  They wrap around the envelope so your return address is on the back.

 

This grapefruit cup had the cutest little fork that was attached to the top.  It actually was folded and then opens up.

Sorry, no snazzy title - just thought I would give a few updates:

• Had the most fabulous salad last night with my new favorite salad dressing:  Honey - Lime Vinaigrette - makes for the best tasting summer salad...yum!
• Our air conditioning unit has died upstairs (this house is only 6 mo. old).  They are coming tomorrow to fix it.  Poor Matthew, his room is upstairs.  Guess he will be sleeping downstairs tonight.
• Just ordered pizza for the boys for dinner.  Not in the mood to cook.
• Look like a new house will be going up right next door.  They have it all flagged out so I guess tomorrow I will hear the bulldozers tearing down the trees.  Not a bad thing, I like having neighbors.
• Started making a scrapbook for our beach pictures - going to use my Zutter Bind It All.  My groove is still going slow but hey, I will keep trying.  Luckily I really still enjoy it!
• We have not been back to the pool since we got back from the beach.  Need to change that tomorrow.
• Can't wait to go see the movie The Proposal.  Bob is not crazy about seeing it which I understand and somehow I don't think it is a kids movie.  I need to meet some people here!!!!
• I signed up to take a Donna Downey class in August at our new scrapbook store.  Can't wait!
• Trying to figure out what to do for Matthew's birthday next month.  He wants to go back to Greensboro and have a party with all his friends.  I can't decide.  I could get a hotel room with adjoining suites and they could swim, etc. but I just don't know yet.  Dad and I still need to figure it out.  He really is past the "having a party" age but we'll see.
• Well, I am off to pour a glass of wine and wait for the boys pizza to arrive.  Have a great night!

We are home - had a good time and man was it HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  It was funny, on our way out of town we passed the restaurant with the huge crab out front - well, it is an all you can eat seafood place.  We have never gone their but Matthew asked us what they serve.  We said tons of food - lots of variety.  Well Matthew proceeded to say, "I bet they don't serve Beijing Waffles".  Matthew, do you mean Belgium Waffles????  Oh my....

This is Bob right after he got stung by a jellyfish (what you don't see is Mom booking out of the ocean).  I know the jellyfish are there but once I know they are around, why would I want to stay in the water???

Wednesday

Well, only a day and a half until we head to the beach and can't wait.  Bob has been a little stressed at work so he is in need of a break.  I am sure on Father's Day we will end up here!  The kids like the restaurant and Bob loves his loaded Landshark.  I am looking forward to hanging out by the pool, a little shopping and just hanging out as a family...

The kids have been enjoying their summer so far - Shaun's birthday is next Wednesday - my baby will be 10!!!!!  Wow - then Matthew next month will turn 13!!!!  Where the heck is time going?  Only one more year of Elementary School and one more year of Middle School.  I am starting to feel a bit older...

Well, there really is not much else to share - Have a great night! 

 

Friday

A few things that have been going on:

• We are almost done painting our kitchen - we are going to add a cobblestone backsplash too.  I'll take pics when that part is done.
• The boys and I have been hitting the pool almost daily (today we played Marco Polo - memories...)
• Looking forward to going to the Farmers Market in our neighborhood next week to load up on fresh cut flowers and some yummy fruit...I can't wait!!!!
• still trying to scrapbook but I am moving very slow at it
• I am actually staying up to date on my 365 project
• The freckles on my face are really starting to show with the tan I am getting (and yes, I wear lots of sunscreen as do my boys but they are like me, they still get pretty brown).  My dad has had lots of skin cancer on his face, etc. so I am very careful to sunscreen them up :)  Not like when I was a kid:  can i say BABY OIL - yikes
• I am totally addicted to these
• My niece is moving back to Fl from NY.  They just moved back to NY about 4 months ago and can't get used to it again so they are headed back to FL in July.  Glad they are able to come stay with us for a few days and we get to see their dog again (Bailey) - super cute Springer Spaniel.
